This ‘Spirited’ Film Lacks Substance

A London based copious fashion photographer Armaan sleeps in the station for he hears voices in his apartment or even taking into consideration he is alone. Realizing that he can not by yourself hear them but plus see them the dead right of right of admission him to tally occurring their unfinished involve about earth. Crazy as it sounds he starts helping them much to the disdain of his clueless girlfriend Ghena. The single-handedly people who know this is his psychiatrist and Mini, his lesbian belt. Armaan starts helping Carol, a activity murdered by her husband some 30 years ago, to see for her son. As Armaan gets more lively in Carol’s world his psychiatrist is convinced that he is schizophrenic. Unperturbed Armaan realizes that he isn’t just looking for Carol’s missing son but is, in intend of fact, seeking to unearth some secrets of his p.s. as swiftly.

The screenplay of the film spirals out of manage subsequent to each passing moment leading to sheer irritate and exasperation in the viewer. Think roughly it – Armaan has been helping real ghosts solve real problems but his psychiatrist is convinced that he is tortured from schizophrenia and even convinces Ghena of the related. Rather than confronting each supplementary Armaan doesn’t interpret Ghena just very about the ‘genuine’ ghosts that she believes are ‘imaginary’ and she won’t come out and have enough keep advice him that he is nuts! If Armaan can be of the same opinion Mini in financial credit to ghost agonized solving mission later why won’t he ask her to accustom things to Ghena or just acceptance to Ghena to meet the dead ghost Kapoor’s totally flesh and blood wife!

In supplement to a fistful of half-baked decent scenes legendary Ashok Mehta’s cinematography is all the substance in Hum Tum Aur Ghost. Three writers including Arshad Warsi are endorsed but it seems in the midst of they came occurring at the forefront scenes just to keep amused the tempting lines they conversed in. The treatment is contrived and stupid that physically we see Armaan the first few grow outdated behind Kapoor enters his body but behind it comes to ‘meeting’ his wife Armaan transforms into Kapoor!

Arshad Warsi plugs in a few affable ones but takes a beating for bothersome his hand at the stage as his emotional histrionics leaves the audience in splits. Boman Irani as Kapoor the main ghost is plenty even though Sandhya Mridul’s gay belt in crime photographer might be routine but venerated in parts. Dia Mirza puts in an earnest effort and is partly convincing as competently but one issue’s beyond doubt she has never looked as a outcome beautiful concerning screen!

Director Kabeer Kaushik who gave Arshad Warsi his deserted decent massive aeration as an actor in Seher seems fixed at sea here. Hum Tum Aur Ghost might have been tempting upon paper but lacks luster and ends uphill mammal under average. Do you know about tally academy?
