Priyanka was born on July 18, 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, which currently falls in Jharkhand, and both Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra and mother Madhu Chopra were both doctors in the Army. Because of this, Priyanka had to change many schools because her parents were often transferred. Priyanka also has a younger brother Siddharth, who is seven years younger than Priyanka. Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra was related to the Punjabi family and the mother was from Jharkhand. Since both of the parents were in service, due to which when they were transferred they had to reach to the new place due to which Priyanka had to stay in many places like Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, Ladakh, Lucknow, Bareilly, and Pune about which Priyanka Once told in the interview that after living in so many places and after changing so many schools, I never felt inconvenient to go to a new place because I used to dissolve in every kind of culture and also learned a lot things. Priyanka has been in such places but she still considers Bareilly as her hometown.
